Well we all in India know the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Bombay. Its a place of the stylish upper class to show off their designer stuff, hats, glasses, cigars, pipes and so on and so forth – not to forget the ladies in tow.
Where I am getting to, here it is. Most of the horses that run on the race course for the Derby are owned by big shots, industrialists and probably actors too.
Here is the great comparison, on the day of the derby the horses are shown off to the public ( who are the rich and famous), once that is done the horses run the derby, the jockies enjoy their few moments of glory and then are sidelined – hey they are not the main heroes, the main heroes who won the race are the stud owners.
I know you are waiting for the IPL and this race horse comparison, well the horses and the IPL, IPLT20 cricket players have a lot in common. I really do not need to go in detail, as a reader you would be well through your thoughts on what exactly I mean by this comparison.
Enjoy IPL, IPLT20. Let the race begin.
